GGI game builds bike for people in Africa
Global Gaming Initiative {GGI} is a company that develops mobile games to help raise awareness of social problems around the world. GGI founder Elizabeth Sarquis believes that by using games it will affect social change and get people wanting to help improve the food, water and education problem in the world.
GGI will develop fun and cool games for charities that will help people around the world. GGI will give 50% of the profit they made by selling the game to the charities. So by us purchasing the game we will be helping people around the world and “Together we can change the world”.
GGI has created their first game SideKick Cycle to help the World Bicycle Relief bring bikes to kids in Africa. The World Bicycle Relief since 2005 has provides some of Africa’s most impoverished communities with over 115,000 specially designed locally assembly bicycles. The bikes are made in their 5 assembly facilities that create local jobs and train field mechanics so that they can fix the bikes.
GGI SideKick Cycle game is only available on iOS and can be downloaded at the Apple Store for just £0.69. GGI has made the game so that its fun but also that it raises awareness of the positive impact bikes can make on someone’s live. So by us buying the game we will help raise money to change lives of people in Africa.
The bikes will help students reach school on time so that they can improve their grades and get a great education and allow health care workers are able to travel further and help more patients. In addition it allows the entrepreneurs to build their business plus allows families to reach clean water.
Likewise if you want to help some more then you can go to the World Bicycle Relief site and donate money from 25 up to $1,340 to help prove bikes for people who it will made a difference to.
