Dual screen YotaPhone debuts at €499

Dual screen YotaPhone debuts at €499

The YotaPhone pricing €499 in Europe and 19,980 rubles in Russia is a great gadget to invest in which blends the qualities of an e-reader and a smartphone. The two prototypes of this device that has been used for the purpose of attaining observations have justified the ideas promised. Any flaw observed has been removed in the retail edition of this gadget.

This dual purpose gadget works on Android operating system. This YotaPhone has a 4.3-inch 720p LCD front display. Its fast processing is rendered by a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon processor and 2GB RAM. The 32GB of storage provides the users with a wider space to store their data. The rear e-paper display too is of 4.3 inches but doesn’t match the LCD display. Its resolution is 640×360 pixels which is lower than that of the front display. During the display of a static image, the e-reader does not consume the battery power.

Hence, the YotaPhone facilitates e-books, notification and other information reading at a power friendly rate. This feature of the gadget is helpful in displaying any image for a longer time at the e-paper display that has been captured from the front camera. This makes easy for the users to navigate maps and shopping lists that are displayed for a longer time without compromising with the battery consumption.

LG G2 Smartphone Review by PING Nigeria

What to expect from LG G2?

LG G2 is a powerful smartphone with a huge 5.2-inch Full HD phone with a powerful quad-core 2.2GHz processor, 13MP camera and an impressively large 3,000mAh battery.

With all kinds of phones available nowadays it is difficult for companies to create an unique design that is both useful and attractive at the same time. And it is also equally if not more difficult to pick a phone over so many choices available to you. For example, Samsung Galaxy, iPhone 5s, Moto X and so many more. In terms of features and the basic hardware design almost all phones serve the same purpose… so what makes LG G2 any different?

The new LG G2 is no less than a personal computer. It comes jam packed with hardware and software that you may find on a traditional tablet or a laptop that is only couple of years old.

The LG G2 has been dubbed the AIO. It is an all in one solution to a smart-phone. For example, you get LCD display, 1920 x 1080 HD, 2 GHz quad-core CPU, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB disk-space, 13 MP camera, Wi-Fi, blue-tooth, Android 4 operating system, and it is only 9 mm thick to fit the right size.

There are some interesting changes to the design. For example, you will find the buttons are below the camera. Even though the phone is 9.1 mm thick, it somehow was able to house a 11.4 Wh battery. Like any other updates the phone features a new theme for the display, and touch-screen buttons on the screen.

Even though the phone features an impressive amount of hardware, it is still not known how the overall experience is going to be or how well the hardware and software will compliment each other.

We at PING Nigeria see great thing happening for LG mobile in 2014. what do you think?
