Beta.ey is a desktop-sized solar charger device that draws energy from diffused sunlight.
Interestingly, it has a dual motion-tracking system for efficient harnessing as the sun traverses the sky, ensuring it absorbs more light energy. The mechanism works by filling the Broessel’sPalantir-esque globe with water so that it magnifies the sun’s rays by more than 10,000 times, making it possible to harvest energy from the moon, or the sun on a cloudy day. It looks amazing but the principle has been around for centuries and you can even DIY one of this at home. We hope most African countries need to invest in this technology fast.
